Critical Care

 

Our critical care NPs (Nurse Practitioners) are experts in Critical Care Medicine and practice independently. We cover ICUs at client hospitals in New York and New Jersey. We have decades of independent, autonomous practice. Procedures include endotracheal intubation, central and arterial line placement, PA catheter placement, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, paracentesis and lumbar puncture.

Anesthesia

 

Our CRNAs (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists) practice independently and provide clinical anesthesia services, mostly in the office/ambulatory setting - plastic surgery, obstetrics/fertility procedures, vascular, pain - which include general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), advanced neuraxial and regional techniques including ultrasound guided nerve blocks.

Vascular Access

 

Our Critical Care NPs (Nurse Practitioners) are experts in all forms of vascular access. We place midlines, PICC lines, central lines and hemodialysis access for client facilities including hospitals, long term acute care hospitals (LTACHs), sub-acute rehabs and long term care facilities. We will travel to your facility or even patients’ homes to place reliable, long term vascular access. Lines are placed sterile and with ultrasound. No line is too complicated for our highly skilled and experienced professionals.

Consulting

 

With over 50 years of industry experience, we provide valuable insight into the complex world of critical care medicine and management of intensive care units. From establishing an effective mid-level, critical care service to managing nocturnal and weekend ICU coverage - we can help you formulate the most effective plan for covering your ICU. We also provide legal consulting and case review services upon request.
